Interactive Webcomic

Fighting Wage-Theft

In partnership with the Melbourne School of Government, I led the creative direction of a graduation team project tackling wage-theft—a widespread but underreported issue affecting young professionals. Through research, surveys, and concept testing, we developed a high-fidelity prototype of an interactive webcomic platform designed to inform, engage, and empower users. The concept blends illustration, storytelling, and social impact to spark dialogue and community sharing around salary injustice. I focused on visual development, motion graphics, and user engagement strategy.

My role

In the development

As the lead visual designer, I was responsible for the concept art, character design, and visual storytelling of the interactive webcomic. I developed the overall aesthetic direction, sketched user personas, created storyboards, and produced final illustrations and motion elements. My focus was on crafting emotionally resonant visuals that made complex legal and social issues accessible and engaging for young creatives. I also contributed to the UX flow and interface design to ensure the comic remained intuitive and immersive.
